Awake
I know why I’m awake now. There are people to see you, judge you. But this is your life. You have to run past them. You can’t be weak, but you still have to have love. This world is unforgettable, cause the scars that people leave behind. But these scars aren’t to show how sad you life was. It isn’t about sob story. Then you just a S.O.B. The scars tell a story of how you’re better than the rest. How you won’t back down. How you’re willing to stand up again. But you only have yourself. People only think of themselves and don’t look back at you. Just got to remember..expectations that people have for you are nothing. You have to better yourself in order to better this world. Everything beautiful and lovely dies. It will always pass. But you have to show your love, you have to light your candle to make this world just a little brighter. If you only speak to spread ignorance and set peoples’ images ablaze, then you deserve the fire that you spread. You stuck killing others while your own life passes by. People show no love. We may not think about it now, but when you lay awake, you can feel what life is about. When you lose track of how many breathes you’ve taken and you lay wide awake, you know it’s because deep inside, it’s just You..you only have You..you only have You to watch your back and to keep you going forward. That’s why you have to love yourself. When you abandon yourself, you really have no one. Try to build up walls..to protect your fragile heart, but you only have yourself.
Only You can watch your back. So when people talk behind it, you have to reach out and pull the knifes out yourself. It’s not that you’re lonely, it’s just that you can only trust yourself.
I’m glad I have my music.
